So what did israel accomplish by the BARBARIC attack on Gaza?except killing 1000s of babies & civilians?

Israel are beginning to learn that you cant bomb a whole population into submission just as Hitler learned that fact in 1940 against Britain. Israel still have to learn that they can't steal Palestinian lands, bulldoze thousands of their homes create hundreds of road blocks. build 8 meter walls depriving the Palestinians the right to travel, access to hospitals and schools or blockade 1.5 million people for 18 months where nobody comes or nobody goes and even restricts the aid they desperately need. In any other area this would be ethnic cleansing so why not here. The UN must, with the help of Obamas new government, act now and put a stop to this genocide
