Christianity is considered to be progressive, but women aren't allowed to be priests?

There is no valid arguement for this practice. I agree with you. It's an old outdated practice. Same way that America is considered a progressive country but won't elect a female president. Sure she's nominated, but the general election will decide who the president will be.
