I think that you aren't being selfish. He may need a new car but not necessarily a brand new one. He should get a used car. You can get plenty of good used cars for only a little money. If I was him, I would buy a civic cuz those things run forever. But he really needs to not be buying new right now. Especially considering the depreciation that you lose on buying a new vehicle. Definately buy used or dont but at all. Or you could just put off the wedding a little...
