Gonzalez vs. Hamilton?
These two guys are having incredible seasons. If the MVP awarding would be held today, I think these two would earn the award over Joey Votto and Miguel Cabrera respectively. Gonzalez is the next Beltran as much as Jimenez is the next Pedro. he has a line of .327/.355/.579 with 25 home runs and 77 RBI along with 18 steals in 23 attempts. It is very possible that he can make a push for 40 home runs, 110 RBI and 25 steals if he stays put. On the other hand, we have hamilton, whose batting average alone is the same as Gonzalez's OBP (.355) he owns an OPS of 1.024 (WOW!) with 24 home runs and 77 RBI. he started the season off slow. I remember he was batting around .280 with 8 home runs for the first 1/3rd of the season or some numbers like those. So, who do you think is the better outfielder? who do you think has a brighter future ahead of him?
